community.sops 1.8.0 (community.sops/CHANGELOG.md at main · ansible-collections/community.sops · GitHub) has been released with new features and bugfixes supporting the new SOPS release 3.9.0. This includes detecting the SOPS version to use the new subcommands introduced in 3.9.0, including the filestatus subcommand to improve handling of unencrypted files for the vars plugin. When SOPS 3.9.0 is used, this release also fixes a long-standing bug for the community.sops.sops_encryptmodule.

community.docker 3.11.0 (community.docker/CHANGELOG.md at main · ansible-collections/community.docker · GitHub) has been released with a few bugfixes, and two new features for community.docker.docker_container: support for device_cgroup_rules, and a new state=healthy which waits for a container to become healthy.

Feedback wanted: As a part of reducing fragmentation and consolidating Ansible discussion platforms effort, we’d like to prioritize the Forum across the collections under the ansible-collections organization. Please see the details and share your opinions in the Reducing fragmentation: Add Communication section emphasizing Forum to collections READMEs in ansible-collections org forum topic.

Is anyone still using 1.x.y releases of community.crypto? If yes, please comment in the GitHub issue on declaring community.crypto 1.x.y End of Life (Deprecate community.crypto 1.x.y · Issue #785 · ansible-collections/community.crypto · GitHub). Version 2.0.0 of the collection was released in November 2021, so we would really like to know if someone is still using the 1.x.y versions.
