AWX Project status / updates

Hi guys,

I’ve noticed a big decrease in activity for the AWX project hosted on GitHub and they haven’t released anything since 1.0.6 almost three months ago. Did something happen to the project from Red Hat’s side?

The Tower developers are still hard at work, and we still intend for that work to land in AWX. For process reasons, we have recently needed to do our work mostly in private repos. This has been going on for much longer than we expected or wanted, but we don’t expect it to go on much longer. We’re also looking at making changes to avoid this kind of situation in future.
