Is there a meta-forum where this would fit better?
I’m using Version 117.0.5938.88 (Official Build) (64-bit) of Chrome on Fedora, and the header-menu buttons don’t seem to be clickable. I’ve tried deleting cookies w/o any effect. In Firefox 117.0.1 (64-bit) the page works.
I’ve not hit this on Chromium but I’ll check Chrome when I have a moment. Can you clarify the “header menu” comment? Are we talking about the Home and Search buttons or something else?
It seems to be conected to notifications. Looks like there is an invisible image overlay over the whole page when I have new notifications. I can remove it using “inspect element” and “delete element” to make the page react to my inputs again.
Next time it happens I’ll copy the element details and attach them to this thread.
<img class="preloader-image" src="data:image/svg;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" alt="Ansible"> seems to be the culprit. When I delete the element,'the page works fine.
@mophahr Interesting. I just updated my Chromium to Version 117.0.5938.92 (Official Build) Arch Linux (64-bit) and I don’t see this behaviour at all. Are you running any extensions that might be interfering?
