Create repository 'https://github.com/ansible-collections/ibm_eda_zos'

Hi,

We are working on an new event driven ansible collection, the intention is to promote it to Galaxy and Ansible Automation Platform as Validated content.

Could you also create a github project with the same name.

You can use ibm_zos_core repository as a template.
You can use this Github project IBM Ansible z/OS Core Collection as a template.

Let me know if you have questions @gundalow. DM me as well if its easier.

@ddimatos done: GitHub - ansible-collections/ibm_eda_zos · GitHub

I’ve given yourself, Bryan & Ketan admin.

If you want the same permissions as ibm_zos_core, I can create ibm-zos-admin, ibm-zos-triage, ibm-zos-write GitHub Groups so we have consistency

Will you setup Galaxy & Hub publishing?

@gundalow , that is an interesting idea, I would need to think about the groups, it might work out better. Technically each of the teams have a different lead:
-ibm_zos_core : ketan
-ibm_zos_ims: dipti
-ibm_zos_eda: stephanie

Let me think this over, can reply here or next time we meet, so long as the teams are respectful of their overlapping powers (not a bad thing) , this might be a better idea.

I will set up Galaxy and Hub, I have those powers.

@gundalow - were you able to also create the GitHub project , did not see one yet.

Like this one , IBM Ansible z/OS Core Collection

Let’s chat about GitHub Groups on Slack. That will help keeping the Repo & Project Board permissions in sync
