We looked at the hidden layers of the automation supply chain and why understanding them matters as automation scales. A mental model was shared that helps practitioners move fast while understanding what truly runs in production.

Adopting Automation: A S.M.A.R.T.E.R Framework for Operational Transformation

This talk introduced the S.M.A.R.T.E.R framework. This approach moved organizations from initial process assessment and piloting to full scale automation. The talk concluded that achieving high level maturity required strong governance through a Centre of Excellence. It also highlighted the importance of engaged team collaboration and the continuous measurement of impact to ensure long term efficiency gains.
