community.general

community.general 12.0.0 (https://github.com/ansible-collections/community.general/blob/stable-12/CHANGELOG.md#v12-0-0) has been released! The collection contains mainy new features, bugfixes, and new plugins and modules! It also drops support for ansible-core 2.16, and is thus supporting only Python 3.7+. For this release, the Python code was polished and modernized a bit - there’s still a lot of work left, which isn’t surprising since there are over 1000 Python files.

community.general 11.4.1 (community.general/CHANGELOG.md at stable-11 · ansible-collections/community.general · GitHub), community.general 10.7.6 (community.general/CHANGELOG.md at stable-10 · ansible-collections/community.general · GitHub), and community.general 9.5.13 (community.general/CHANGELOG.md at stable-9 · ansible-collections/community.general · GitHub) have been released with new bugfixes and a security fix for community.general.keycloak_user (the option credentials[].value is now marked as no_log=True). Please note that 9.5.13 was the last 9.x.y release; the 9.x.y release train is now End of Life. Thanks for everyone who contributed to 9.x.y releases!

We’re planning to migrate the docs.ansible.com subdomain to Read The Docs hosting on Monday, November 10. Hopefully the migration will go smoothly but we want to give notice in the event of unexpected behavior or outages. For more information, or to give us your thoughts, see the thread in the forum: We’re moving to Read The Docs
