inventory hosts link to topology

  • I am automating the installation process on target hosts, If installation process is success on target hosts it should show in topology with failed or success
  • This will help to visualize on the bigger environment deployment automation

When I google with texts “awx inventory to topology instance”, The Google AI overview shows as below, But Not sure what it mean, What to do

To link an inventory to a topology in AWX, you can:

I never paid much attention to the Topology View but I think it’s only meant to display Ansible control nodes in every of their incarnation. Target nodes aren’t meant to be displayed here and indeed this is under the Administration menu (as in administration of the AWX product, not the administration of the target nodes).
