Continuing the theme from the previous 2023, 2024 and 2025 threads, let’s keep going. Newcomers to the community, here’s your space to say hi! Welcome!
For those who speak English as a second language please say Bonjour, Halo, Hej, Olá in International Communities
Might as well introduce myself as I’ve posted some here and there already.
Real name is Bart, live in the Netherlands. Currently working as a Linux (dev/ops/sre) engineer at a large firm where I’ve introduced Ansible and Ansible AWX about a year ago. Already had some experience prior with Ansible, but expanded my knowledge a lot the past year on Ansible.
I’ll be here to mooch around and gain knowledge, help out where I can, and possibly contribute to Ansible at some point.
Hi, I’m a senior experienced professional , working as a Senior Manager in a large firm. I’m a Automation enthusiast, having huge interest with Ansible/Tower.

I am a senior professional with extensive experience, currently working as a Principal Engineer at a large firm. I have a strong passion for automation and a keen interest in Ansible/Tower. Last year, I introduced Ansible to my organization, where we successfully transitioned from document-driven operations to a centralized automation control plane based on infrastructure-as-code principles. This transformation initially supported a zero-downtime security rollout across several hundred production systems and was later expanded to automate multi-site data-center build pipelines. This significant shift has greatly reduced our delivery time.
I am here to gain knowledge, assist where possible, and potentially contribute to Ansible in the future.
My name is Kalle
Im working as a SRE for a big company. Previously I worked as a IT Support Specialist and IT Systems Administrator.
In my current role and company we found AWX and we will be implementing it to orchestrate and manage our Windows VMs. I’ve just picked up Kubernetes, Rancher, ArgoCD, Git and the whole shebang and will start working on developing AWX for our environments. Since this all is relatively new to me then I’m glad that I found the place where I can ask help ( and ask for help as I SHALL )
If you guys can recommend any links or additional books or something to go through that would make my learning path easier.. then you are welcome to share it. Thank you and glad to meet you all.
Hi everyone, I’m Ajith, a PSE working extensively with Ansible for infrastructure and network automation. My work spans designing and maintaining production‑grade playbooks and roles, developing automation workflows.
I’m particularly interested in deterministic IaC patterns, idempotent network configuration, execution environment hardening, and scalable automation frameworks. I look forward to collaborating with the community on advanced Ansible use cases, performance tuning, and emerging best practices in automation at scale
Ansible was unknown to me until 3 years ago my TL asked me to try it. I didn’t do it, today i regret that choice back then. Nevermind the time has passed and i found myself in the best place here.
I did small contributions to keycloak module so far and looking for more. My home is in Germany and Balkan (ex-Yugoslavia) , so if any peers are interested into meetup please let me know.
Feel free to reach out, i gladly discuss online and offline. Also i would like to get more involved in contributions for other modules over time.
I’m Gavin, a developer working with Python and C++. I’m exploring Ansible for automating deployments, managing infrastructure, and building reusable playbooks. Excited to learn from the community and contribute to modules and automation workflows.
I’m David. I am currently working as a DevSecOps Engineer at a medium sized organization. Before this role, I worked as an automation engineer writing python and ansible for automations, and leading the effort to move to Ansible Automation Platfrom (AAP) from ansible-core. Overall, I’ve used ansible regularly for the last 6 years across multiple roles and personal use. I hope to continue learning ansible, and hopefully contribute to it’s continued development.
Primarily, I want to contribute to the ansible projects. I’m looking for issues that should be addressed, but have been waiting for a contributer for a long time, so I can take my time working on the PR. I have an existing PR that matched this, and it allowed me time to fully work on the issue without worrying someone else was working on the same thing, or would submit a PR before I finished mine. If there are any issues like this please send them my way.
I’m also interested in learning more about how ansible can best be organized in repositories, and utilized to always configure new servers to match existing production servers, as most organizations I’ve worked at struggled with these issues.
I built this as a personal project—no VCs, no big corporate backing, just me. My background comes from the days of managing on-prem Hadoop clusters with massive amounts of Ansible code. Today, I still rely on Ansible to provision my own remote development environments.
I’m currently looking for early adopters and builders to help shape the project. If you’re interested in a novel approach to configuration, I’d love for you to check it out: https://www.bigconfig.it/use-cases/package/
Hi all!
Emerson, from Brasil, trying a real start now - I learned some Ansible a few years ago, but didn’t really use it at work. Now my team uses it and I want to join the select group of those who actually write stuff.
Thanks to all!
