The next Ansible meetup is scheduled for Thursday 9th October 2025.

Note, this is at a different location & event to Red Hat Summit: Connect 2025 London which happens takes place during the day. Please register separately if you wish to attend both.

Metro Bank have kindly offered us use of their offices at 1 Southampton Row, London WC1B 5HA, short walk from Holborn Tube.
The entrance is just down from the bank itself on Southampton row.
Facing the Metrobank branch with Sainsburys behind you, head to the right past the bank and its on your left about 25mtrs.

Agenda
Lets make an ansible plugin (stdout/callback) Live
John Stilia will explain what an Ansible plugin is, what are the options and how to make one. We will then use ChatGPT to get attendees input and make a plugin live, then run an example Playbook to see how the plugin behaves.

Lightning Talks & Discussion
For the first time, we will have lightning talks, and accepting talks and discussions on the day, so bring your laptop and slides/Playbooks or just just start a discussion.

We are looking for a for 5-15 minute lightning talks. Slides and demo optional, we are here for the discussion.

I’ve been having fun with callbacks ever since. Found they can be a little fiddly in containers and ansible-navigator but I’m sure I’ll get there. Will share the details when I do
