Why has LDAP been marked deprecated in the operator? deprecate LDAP auth by ldjebran · Pull Request #1969 · ansible/awx-operator (github.com)
I understand that removing duplicate code is part of the Transitioning authentication and authorization (RBAC) to the new AWX architecture - Project Discussions - Ansible modernization project, which is linked in the PR, but I still expect LDAP to be available. Is the change to RBAC significant enough that the operator can no longer bootstrap LDAP settings? Or does the documentation just need to be updated to reflect changes? (I would think extra_settings_file should still work, but would still need/want the ldap ca bundle). LDAP is part of the django-ansible-base and has no mention of deprecation there, so I’m very surprised to see it deprecated in the AWX operator.
