I am wondering if there is something wrong with my PR: https://github.com/ansible/ansible/pull/34246
It was submitted long ago (over a month) and I only got a review yesterday from a community member, but it looks like it is only because he was interested on the subject in the first place.
I wonder if the PR is not being reviewed because I missed something and the PR is going sort of out of the radar.
Could anyone enlighten me ?

No, that is quite normal, your PR is introducing a new module so it is
automatically classified as 'community' which means the core team will
not get involved unless someone brings it to their attention.
As per the community workflow, it depends on the current list of
maintainers (general and specific to the category) and their interest
in the plugin, after all this is mostly a volunteer effort.
The best place to get core involved is IRC, specifically the core
meetings https://github.com/ansible/community/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+label%3Acore
