General news updates
Documentation redirects
Oranod shared
The Ansible community team is planning to consolidate redirects for Ansible documentation from versions 2.3 to 2.10. This effort will result in a change to the user experience but we’re doing it in the name of progress.
We’ve had some great feedback so far and have made some adjustments with a couple of options ahead for how we deal with some of the redirect rules for pre-collectiosn urls that point to the latest version. We’re asking our community members to review all the details in this forum post: Consolidating redirects on docs.ansible.com.
You can find specific examples about the change as well as the related PRs. Please feel free to review all the details and share your thoughts and opinions by replying to the forum post or commenting on one of the PRs. Thank you!

Exciting news for everyone heading to Configuration Management Camp next February in Ghent! The Cfgmgmtcamp 2025 schedule is available!! We’ve got two Ansible tracks lined up with interesting talks from some great speakers.
You can register for Cfgmgmtcamp online. It’s free, fun, and a great opportunity to learn, share, and engage with fellow IaC technologists right after FOSDEM.
You can also grab some Cfgmgmtcamp gear from the online shop.
