Release 0.0.1 tagged for purposes of enabling package review

For the purpose of getting Fedora package review started (John volunteered, thank you sir!) for Ansible and getting it usable in a distro as quickly as possible, I have tagged release 0.0.1

AFAIK, this is perfectly usable for most of the core functionality. We will probably have a 0.0.2 we’d push something to a non-testing repo.

I also was asked today whether this is generally usable by people and how stable playbooks/CLI options are. I think the answer is “totally stable”.

I have some plans to add some options (for async poll on the CLI, and maybe conditionals on the playbook) but I’m very happy with syntax. You should be able to go ahead using this in the real world right now, and just report any problems that you find.

This is more or less a soft release, I don’t plan to really ‘promote’ ansible until we get a 0.0.2
