Introduce yourself! (2025 edition)

Greetings.

EJL here. I’ve been using ansible for about 3 months, so expect lots of question from me. My main role is Linux System Admin (mostly RHEL), and my ‘home’ environment has Debian for the last 10 years.

Hello,

I’m Heiko from Germany and works as a software developer for over 30 years.
In my current job I work as a cloud-developer to manage network devices (switches, routers, access-points,…).

I’m very old-school and like to work with CLI and simple solutions.
I remembered on Ansible from the past and thought it would be a cool idea to integrate LANCOM System network devices.

So here I’m and hope the best.

Hello folks,
I’m Mark Ramsey from Port Charlotte, Fl. I’m a VMware Engineer by trade and training for over 20 years BUT I’m I know a little about a lot of different technologies. I’m looking to evaluate various incidents as they appear and to use Ansible to remediate them.

Hopefully I will be able to contribute as much as I take from the community.

Greetings!

My name is Brady and I am from Texas.

I’m a Red Hat Architect by day, developing and configuring enterprise-level open-source software. But when I’m not automating infrastructure provisioning or evangelizing GitOps strategies, you can find me outdoors, gazing at the sky and promoting the art of amateur radio.

While I am a new member of this forum I have posted some Ansible and automation related blogs at Red Hat Blog.

Here are some of my current projects and more about what I’ve got going on on my GitHub Blog. Look forward to contributing and collaborating!

Since 2020, I’ve been leading an open-source R&D project called YaK — a cross-platform Ansible inventory based solution. After several years of development, YaK has matured into a stable and robust tool, and it’s now ready to be introduced more widely to the Ansible community.

To help new users get started quickly, I’ve written a blog post demonstrating how to build an application in just few minutes with YaK. The post walks through integrating your Ansible playbooks and deploying them on any platform, all through an intuitive, user-friendly UI.

If you’re tired of writing platform-specific Ansible code, take a look and I’d really appreciate your feedback!

Enjoy

Hi Ansiblepeople

I’m a developer working in the field of multimedia installations and have been trying for years to find convenient ways to manage remote machines. I finally discovered Ansible a year ago and have loved it ever since.

The thing is, I mostly work with Windows hosts, so things can sometimes be a bit tricky, but I’m getting somewhere

Hi all!

Been a happy reader of the Ansible bullhorn newsletter and Ansible user for years now.

I’m a tech guy specialized in various fields of the Infra stack (networking, security, linux, DevOps, etc) and currently specializing in process automation engineering/architecture for the past couple of years. Ensuring the entire process from A (end-users) to Z (results) gets automated using any means necessary. This includes Network Automation, (cloud/on-prem) deployments, config management (API, CLI, etc) and much more! My fave piece of course is Ansible!

Hope to get more insights, tips, tricks etc here at this community and contribute where i can.

Grtz. xdk

Hello Ansible Forum! I’m excited to join this community as I embark on my journey to learn Ansible and integrate automation into my workflow. I’m a Python developer/data engineer with experience building data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and analytical solutions as well as orchestrating workflows and ensuring reliable data processing at scale. As certain projects I’ve been working on have grown in complexity, I’ve realized the need for robust automation and configuration management which is what has brought me here! I’m here to learn how to effectively implement Ansible for cloud infrastructure management, automating database deployments & migrations, and for orchestrating data pipeline deployments. I look forward to that and more and maybe getting an opportunity to work with some of you guys! Thank you!!!

I’m Yasir, Linux engineer. I started learning about Red Hat, Ansible and automation two years ago, and now I’m excited to dive deeper with Ansible. Facts gathering is my favorite part, along with Jinja and Python for data manipulation.

I’m here to share/learn how to effectively implement Ansible for cloud infra and data pipeline automation. I also have wrote my first collection (crusty_rs.infra2csv) and want to contribute to open source. communities, including this Reddit one, have kept me engaged and helped me improve significantly, and I’m truly grateful for that.
