git Project copied to the automation container doesn't have git folder

Hi AWX Team,

Previously when i used awx-operator of version 0.23.0, i was able to git operation in the git project from which playbook is executed. As I have a requirement which does git operation in the automation container.

But in the new build i.e.awx-operator-1.1.0, i don’t find the .git/ dir copied there in the automation container, so not able to perform any git operation from the playbook.
Can you please help me so that the .git/ folder is also copied as well?

Yes, later versions of awx don’t copy over the project .git folder to the container that runs the job, so accessing this from the playbook is not possible.

What git operations were you doing in your playbook? we might be able to provide a workaround for it.
