Thanks once again for the clarification. I will submit updates to the documentation of the c.g.ipa_* modules to convey that distinction to the users.

Hi there, it took me a while to get back to this issue.

Here, the PR adding a note about the connection method to (almost[1]) all ipa_* modules:

I would appreciate if you guys could take a quick look and review the text in need, for both content and form :slight_smile: .

Specially @rjeffman , if you could please ensure I captured what you wrote up here correctly and concisely, that would be greatly appreciated.

I just got back from PTO, and was completely disconnected from the world…

The update seems good to me. The only thing I might add (nitpicking here) is that “shell access to one node from the realm is required to manage the deployment”.
