Hi everyone,

We are changing how the Ansible Networking community hears about releases and project news.

Network Working Group call
The bi-weekly recurring Network Working Group call cadence is ending. We are focusing on channels where people can participate asynchronously and where updates are easy to find later.

Release and project updates
From 09-APR-2026, networking-related release and project updates will be posted on the Ansible Community Forum (typically under News & Announcements or Project Discussions, with clear tags). Posts will include links to relevant PRs and issues when useful.

Where to participate from now onwards.

  • forum.ansible.com for questions, feedback, and async discussion for Ansible Networking.
  • Short cross-posts (e.g. Bullhorn) may point here with links to the thread and PRs.

Other working groups, such as Documentation WG and the main Community WG have already made the transition from Matrix to Ansible Forum, we’ve seen greater discussion and collaboration because of this as we get the advantages of asynchronous communication. So it’s great to see Networking WG do the same.

We have a dedicated set or Forum Tags, so you can follow along and ask questions via network-automation https://forum.ansible.com/tags#network-automation.

You san subscribe to the top level network-automation tag or just the specific network platforms you are using.

I’ll make sure we have tags added for the major network platforms.
