We know that, technically, it’s possible to deploy AWX on Azure Container Apps, but we understand that this approach is strongly discouraged for production environments, since ACA is stateless, wouldn’t scale properly, and the recommended option would be to deploy it on AKS instead.
On the other hand, I’m not sure how an execution environment would actually run inside an ACA instance. I’ve been looking for documentation on this but haven’t found anything relevant.
I’d like to confirm officially from the community whether the preferred and supported way to deploy AWX is through the AWX Operator and, by all means, within a Kubernetes cluster.
Also, do you have any official documentation or comparison material outlining the limitations and differences between deploying AWX on ACA versus AKS (or other Kubernetes-based solutions)?
