@felixfontein and @nitzmahone thanks for a great session last week at CfgMgmtCamp, and all the preparation that went into this before hand. I agree the forum is the right place for the discussion to be, so I really appreciate the time you’ve taken to create these forum posts.
One of the many things I love about the Ansible Community is the energy and drive to improve, and hold myself and other Red Hatters accountable.
I’ve already started pinging some folks inside Ansible Engineering on specific topics you’ve raised, so there should be some replies in the next few days, though we need feedback from everybody.
I’m just finishing processing the YouTube videos and notes, so I’ll ensure I get everything linked together from CfgMgmtCamp 2026 that includes a recording of this 50 minute session.
I encourage anybody reading this to help us improve, help us understand your pain points so we can better understand the problem statements allows all of us to think of different and better ways to move forward. It was great to see the collaboration and attendees wanting to work together to implement solutions and improvements across the whole Ansible Ecosystem.
