I work in an environment that uses an Ansible server (core 2.15.3) installed on a Rocky8 OS to administer Rocky8 servers and workstations (and some CentOS7 servers transitioning to Rocky8). Management is discussing bringing in a project that exclusively uses Ubuntu. Should we expect any problems with our playbooks working against Ubuntu, whether it be python versions, filesystem structure or file location differences, etc?
I guess I will find out soon enough, but I wanted to reach out and hopefully get ahead of any pitfalls that may be awaiting us.
