Release announcement : Ansible Community Package 8.5.0

Hello everyone,

We’re happy to announce the release of the Ansible 8.5.0 package!

Ansible 8.5.0 includes ansible-core 2.15.5 as well as a curated set of

Ansible collections that provide a vast number of modules and plugins.

How to get it


This release is available on PyPI and can be installed with pip:

$ python3 -m pip install ansible==8.5.0 --user

Can the package be installed by using a package manager (e.g. yum, dnf, etc.), as well as using the method that you show in your
announcement?

Yes, although you have to wait for package maintainers to build and release it on your distribution repos. Here is the relevant documentation page.
