First and foremost, Google+ signups are now working. If you continue to have any problems please let us know! Second, we’re planning on pushing out some updates to the site Friday evening that will address some of the issues that have been more prevalent. This work will start at 9 EST, after which we’ll send out a follow-up email with a more definitive list of fixed issues.
The maintenance is now complete and the site is once again available. Please let us know if you see any errors on the site.
Here’s a list of bugs fixed by this update:
The “re-import” button should once again be available for those that had it disappear on them.
When you delete a role, that name should now be free to re-use. However, we’ve also added in the ability to “re-activate” roles that are marked as deleted, so you should not ever need to recreate a role under a different name. If you’ve had to create new roles because of the re-import issue above, let me know and I can clean up the old/unused ones so they don’t show up in your admin interface.
Descriptions that are too long (either in the metadata or as set on the github repo) will now be truncated to the maximum allowed length (255 characters).
There was a bug in the role import code that was preventing dependencies from being added correctly. If you have dependencies listed in your metadata, just re-import and they should be added in correctly.
Thanks, and again let us know if you run into any issues!
The ‘Import Status’ column for ‘My Roles’ shows ‘(import status unknown: FAILED)’ for a newly created role.
Clicking the ‘Re-import’ button gives the message ‘Role refresh scheduled successfully.’ but the role is never imported. The ‘Import Status’ message remains.
