New weekly IRC meeting: New Module Review (today!)

On #ansible-meeting on freenode.

Meeting will be Wednesdays at 1800 GMT (currently 1400 EDT).

The long-term goal will be to move through the backlog of new module
requests in Extras; there are currently 168 proposed new modules, and
our various mechanisms for approving new modules have not been super
successful, so now we're moving to this.

What will be our process for going through the backlog? My sense is
that we should go through "most commented" first, since comments are
the best proxy we have for interest. But part of this first meeting
will be sorting that out.

We'll also be sorting out clearer acceptance criteria and so on. It'll
definitely be a work in progress -- but the progress starts today. See
you there if you can make it.

Hi Greg,

How did the first one go?

I think this is a good idea but i’m unlikely to be able to ever make it as the timezone doesn’t work for me.

I am also extremely interested in the outcome.

We mainly talked about process, and had a few takeaways.

The meeting minutes can be found here: https://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/ansible-meeting/2016-03-23/new-modules.2016-03-23-18.00.html
