Netconf bastion host settings

I have a jumphost/bastion set up for a lot of Cisco routers. It works great, now I’m trying to get Juniper devices working. When I specify transport=cli, so it uses network_cli, the bastion works fine. When I use netconf connections the bastion is not used. I have upgraded to 2.5.4 to try and fix this, and found this page which seems to indicate this should work, https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/2.5/network/user_guide/platform_junos.html.

Has anyone got this working?

Can you please help me to get rid of this problem.

For cisco routers also I am getting issues.

Can you please show how your configuration looks like with sample values like .ssh/config,ansible.cfg,host file and playbook.
