I needed this for my job so I put this together today/this evening. It's based more or less off of the functioning of both the salt and puppet modules that do the same.
I've tested it here with bind and local mounts - seems to work a treat - I'm sure there are bugs to be found.
please test it. If it looks good I'll send a Pull req to upstream.
