    2. INFO: I've got a PR that needs review please. it adds a Sphinx extension to inject the EOL banner for when core and package docs reach the end of the lifecycle. it also adds a version yaml file that we can declare the active and eol versions of the docs. (@orandon:ansible.im, 16:21:33)

INFO: another PR that needs review is the one that adds the reredirects extension. initially I started writing an extension for Sphinx that could generate stub files based on an RST template - I actually adapted that for the EOL extension - but I then found that generating stub files wasn't the best because it created a lot of additional RST files in the repo, which adds to the size and makes things cluttered (@orandon:ansible.im, 16:29:10)
    5. INFO: we could generate those stub files in memory somehow instead of creating them on disk but that seems like a bad idea because the package docs build is already a memory hog and doing that might mean we'd need even more resources (@orandon:ansible.im, 16:30:14)
    6. INFO: anyway, I got fed up with the stub extension and started looking around and found the reredirects extension. it works really well and now we have that PR. (@orandon:ansible.im, 16:31:37)
