okay - so I have a patch to fix the arbitrary indents but it's a
horrible patch to send a pull request for b/c it is adding 1 or 2
spaces on every line.
Btw - just to be clear here I'm just going by PEP8.
I'll be happy to email the patch to the list so it can be applied w/o
giving me credit for modifying every line - which just feels silly
