help configuring python dynamic inventory from git

Hi,

I’m new to this and I’m struggling a bit. I have a dyn inv script that was originally used in “Inventory Scripts” in an older version of awx. However I’ve recently installed 17.0.1 and I’m having trouble figuring out how to add that script into a project so it can be called in the inventory source. I’ve taken that python code and just saved into a new project, but when I sync the project to awx it doesn’t show up in in the source file options. I’ve been reading on the plugins, but it’s not making much sense to me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Kevin,
You can type it yourself inside the box (source file) . For exemple just type /mydir/myscript.py

I just tried that and it’s not allowing me to type anything, just the pulldown.
