I think it's based on ansible so might not be that off topic. Not
sure. The website says it runs ansible playbooks and setup.py requires
ansible.

ansible we thought it would have been on-topic for the ansible
community and this list.
You might want to make it clear in the list description what is
on-topic and what is not, to avoid similar things happening in the

The underlying problem was the release announcement didn’t mention Ansible and it was easily misread for spam.
