Can someone please advise me on which collection contains the appropriate inventory plugin that allows creating dynamic inventory from an identity management server or a database server?

None of them, Unless your IDM server provider already has one, you are likely looking at a custom one purpose built for your IDM server or database

Also an example from my book, The book goes into more detail, but the example pulls from a public database and shows how to set up the folder structure and load things.
