Community.aws 8.0.0?

We’re planning to release Ansible-10.0.0 beta1 tomorrow, but there’s a problem: amazon.aws 8.0.0 is out, but the current community.aws version 7.2.0 seems to require amazon.aws < 8.0.0.

Obviously, we cant include both amazon.aws 8.0.0 and community.aws 7.2.0. This is a problem for us, especially since beta1 is a feature freeze release.

@AWS When do you plan to do a community.aws release that supports amazon.aws 8.0.0?

We are working on getting an 8.0.0 release of community.aws out, hopefully in the next hour or two.
