How to take backup before editing in the file, without changing time-stamp of the file. I used “backup=yes” but the problem is that it changed the time-stamp.

The timestamp you get is of the time of backup, that is just how they work.
You can create your own backup task (copy module) and then force the
timestamps to be the same (you can do this with the touch command).
