AWX GUI slow

Hi,

I just completed a clean installation of AWX in an Ubuntu server 20.04 running in a VM Player virtual machine. I used minikube and AWX operator v 0.11.0.

Everything seems to be working, I can login and browse/create objects, however the GUI is really slow. For example, if I click on “Templates” sometimes I get the page immediately, but sometimes can take up to 30 secs to show the page. It keeps showing the rotating “waiting” icon until the page appears. This happens with every option in the menu. I had the same issue with another previous install using 0.10.0.

I read somewhere this could be related to a DNS problem, but I am not sure where should I check the DNS config. I used “awx.example.com” in the YAML install file…

Just to add some information: there are no signs of resource issues, this VM is dedicated to AWX and was defined with 4 processors and 6GB RAM. When the page is stuck in rotating icon, I dont see any high usage of CPU or memory.

Another weird thing is that after several minutes not using the GUI, clicking on any link will show the result immediately, but every successive click on menu items takes increasingly more time: 3 secs, then 8 secs, then 15 secs, then 30 secs…

I started from scratch using operator 0.12.0 and it’s working fine now, just for anyone haveing same issue.
