Ansible Galaxy role version ordering

Hey All,

It seems the galaxy role version ordering is a bit off:

https://galaxy.ansible.com/list#/roles/648

The list includes v0.9.10 between v0.9.1 and v0.9.2

In the “admin” side the top 5 versions are listed as v.0.9.9, v0.9.8, v0.9.7, v0.9.6, v0.9.5
This threw me off, because I kept “reloading” to wait for the next version.

The CLI works as expected and downloads v0.9.10, so this is not really a big issue.

Hi Ramon,

This has been noted before and we hope to fix it in the future.

Basically tags are tags so it just sorts alphabetically, which in some situations it could be smarter.

But if you tag something “foosball”, not so much :slight_smile:
