How does one anonymize your account or delete it? I see mentions of contacting an administrator but see no links to do that.

Hello! Thanks for pointing it out. We might have missed adding the proper steps to request it in the available FAQs.
The current protocol is to anonymize and not delete, as deleting an account could cause issues with topics/threads. From Discourse docs:
Anonymizing a user account in Discourse allows you to remove personally identifiable information while preserving the user’s posts and contributions.
Anonymization is irreversible. Make sure you have a good reason to anonymize a user and that you have their consent if required by your policies.
While anonymization removes personal information, it does not delete the user’s content.
