I’ve stumbled upon this collection when looking for possibly unmaintained collections in ACP 14.0.0 because there hasn’t been a new release since Aug 8, 2025. There are recent commits in the repo, though. Well, maybe there hasn’t been anything important to release, I don’t know :person_shrugging:

But it looks like the last CI run has been 9 months ago. So I think their CI doesn’t satisfy ACP requirements, and they didn’t react on this. I think this is somewhat problematic.

I pinged some folks who recently commited, let’s see if something happens. If there is no reaction in, say, a week or two, I guess we could start the removal process.

I think that this collection violates our requirements because there haven’t been any CI runs / sanity tests since Oct 6, 2025. Since the maintainers didn’t react or respond, I suggest to remove the collection from Ansible 16. Personally, I would prefer to remove it from Ansible 15 but if I understand the process correctly we’ll have to wait until 16.

The vote ended today. 9 steering committee members voted in favor of removing dellemc.unity from Ansible 16. There haven’t been any votes from the community.
