There will be a new major release community.routeros 3.0.0 at the end of October / beginning of November which drops support for Ansible 2.9, ansible-base 2.10, ansible-core 2.11, ansible-core 2.12, ansible-core 2.13, and ansible-core 2.14.

community.routeros 2.18.0 (community.routeros/CHANGELOG.md at main · ansible-collections/community.routeros · GitHub) has been released with a bugfix and several new features, including a new parameter
restrict
forcommunity.routeros.api_info
andcommunity.routeros.api_modify
which allows to restrict operations to entries with specific conditions. For example, you can use this to only retrieve or modify firewall rules for a specific chain, or to remove all firewall rules with a specific comment.

. Therefore, we’ve closed the community / steering committee vote announced in The Bullhorn #148 for now.
