Release Announcement : Ansible 9.0.0 Alpha 3 in here!

Hello everyone,

We’re happy to announce the release of the Ansible 9.0.0a3 package!

Ansible 9.0.0a3 includes ansible-core 2.16.0rc1 as well as a curated set of

Ansible collections that provide a vast number of modules and plugins.

How to get it?

This release is available on PyPI and can be installed with pip:

$ python3 -m pip install ansible==9.0.0a3 --user

Check if you got this option enabled on this thread:

If so, that’s why you get notifications from this thread. In that case you might want to change it to “tracking”, etc

Note this was originally posted to News & Announcements by mistake which everyone is subscribed to. So you probably aren’t tracking Ecosystem Releases even though that’s where the post is now.
