How about a book club?

I was chatting with @samccann earlier, and we thought it might be fun to have some book recommendations, or maybe even run a book club!

I can see a few ways to go with this… We can obviously about reading for pleasure (I’m a sci-fi and fantasy reader, myself), and we can obviously talk about professional books (Ansible ones, natch, but also other pursuits too).

But how to organise it? I’m thinking

  1. A topic per genre/professions for recommendations
  2. Dedicated topics if enough people want to read a book together.

What do you think? I’d be happy to go start threads for some Community Management" texts I like :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It never really got any traction, and I think we have quite varied tastes as a group :wink:. It could work if we keep it on a professional level, I guess - I’m still happy to share my list of Community Architect resources, but I don’t know how many people would care :stuck_out_tongue:
