(unsure if this is the right place to talk about galaxy, if no, let me know)

I would like to make some feature requests for galaxy.ansible.com:

1. Webhook on GitHub for autoupdate roles on Galaxy

Having more and more roles on galaxy, it is a bit time consuming updating every single one on a code change. It would be great, if there would be a API where we can hook from github or from jenkins for updating the role.

2. Tags syncing issue

Sometimes tag changes (rarely happens, but it happens). Galaxy does not sync tags once synced. And if you change the tag on GitHub and not updating galaxy, Install with ansible-galaxy will fail as far as I can see.

In the future, you can email galaxy suggestions to me if you like. We do track them internally.

I’d be worried a bit about undo overhead from a webhook, but we’ll think about it.

I’m not sure I understand the tag question, but feel free to email us details.
