I’m brand new to the group and also new to AWX as a whole. We have been looking at various ways of backing up & restoring/ duplicating our environment and I’m struggling to find how to do this with credentials stored in a vault. Has anyone else looked at this or have any pointers, any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Yes. You can’t back it up. In order to get around this I actually use a collection redhat-cop tower_configuration to define what My infrastructure looks like.

As in three examples I use a data structure to define what my tower configuration looks like and then ansible performs the task against the host. This includes every configuration in awx. Hth
