AWX and cluster mode

Hi all,

Is AWX developed to run in a cluster mode or on a single server?

Is it possible to simply add a second or third node in the “inventory” file and run the AWX installation normally?

If cluster mode is natively supported, it is better to use the docker-compose or Kubernetes (or Openshift)?

clustering is supported on Kubernetes & OpenShift. It’s not supported via docker-compose.

Could you help to have the good way to deploy AWX using Kube ?
Do I need to modify the inventory file (host paramater for example) to deploy AWX on a cluster of 2 nodes? (Cluster Kube = 1 master + 2 nodes)

Hi,
No I think you can build an AWX cluster with Kubernetes but I’m not sure it’s a “real” cluster mode (HA).
