I’m pleased to announce AWX 1.0.4. This release fixes a lot of things and adds some new features, which I’ll list in a moment.
From here until 1.0.5 we’re going to be merging some of the last big features before we head into a cleanup phase. The biggest of which is a shift away from our old AuthToken mechanism to an OAuth2 implementation. See issue #21 (https://github.com/ansible/awx/issues/21) and PR: https://github.com/ansible/awx/pull/904
We’ll have some more details about that as we get close to the merge.
Here are some other things between 1.0.3.0 and 1.0.4.0:
More granular Organization RBAC roles: https://github.com/ansible/awx/pull/1123
Low level item copying support: https://github.com/ansible/awx/pull/903
Adding support for new BECOME prompts in ansible 2.5
pexpect version bump to pick up performance improvements: https://github.com/ansible/awx/issues/417
clustering support for openshift and kubernetes: https://github.com/ansible/awx/pull/1058
Support for multiple LDAP servers, SAML 2fa and SAML attribute mapping
Multi-file support for credential types
…more…
If you want to install and stick with this then install on version tag 1.0.4.0
