Ansible Core Engine Freeze for Version 2.3

The next version of the open source Ansible project (version 2.3) is currently in development. I’m a little (2 days) late but the development branch for Ansible 2.3 Core Engine is now FROZEN for features. Bug fixes will continue.

We will still accept and review contributions for modules (and bug submissions of course) for another 2 weeks.

We can’t guarantee that module submissions during this time will make it in, but we will continue to review and merge these submissions as normal during this time. At 01 March, we will freeze all feature and module submissions from merge into Ansible Core and focus strictly on bug fixes for the following two weeks until (hopefully) we push out Release Candidate 1. Regards,

Jason McKerr
