Ansible Contributor Summit 9 (Virtual)

Hi everyone,

The 9th Ansible Contributor Summit is happening in less than a week! It will be on Monday, July 8, from 11:00-19:00 UTC, and will be held online.

For those unfamiliar with this event, the Ansible Contributor Summit is a full day working session especially for community contributors to interact with one another, as well as with Ansible development teams (Core, AWX, Galaxy etc.), to discuss important issues in the community and help shape the future of Ansible. In the past we have always included a virtual component with the physical event, and this year we have gone fully virtual.

If you plan to attend, please register on Eventbrite, and then head over to the etherpad to contribute to the agenda. Please bookmark the etherpad as it will contain the latest updates.

Ansible succeeds because of its community, and this contributor summit is for you. Everyone is encouraged to pitch a session on a topic that they’d like to talk about. You don’t need to be an expert; in fact, sometimes it’s better if you’re not. It just has to be a topic that you’re interested in, and you have to be willing to lead a discussion on that topic.

The current list of potential topics is listed on the Etherpad. You may add your own topics at any time, but sooner the better so others can vote on them! The second half of the event will be shaped by the session topics proposed and voted on by you.

Following the Contributor Summit, we will have Ansible Hackathon on Tues-Wed, July 7-8.

Thanks for all of your contributions to Ansible, and we look forward to seeing you online next week!

Best regards,
