Just a heads up that beta1 will be delayed. There aren't any blockers
to getting it out, just a lot of things that have to be performed in
serial and we've run out of time to get it out today. It will likely
be out tomorrow.
At this time, we do not think that this delay will affect the release
date of 2.8.0 final.
