Ansible 2.6 Release Schedule and Freeze Dates

Hi everyone,

We’ve finalized the release schedule for the upcoming Ansible 2.6 release.

The roadmap contains details and dates for the release.

Key dates from the schedule are:

2018-05-17 Core Freeze (Core Engine and Non-Community Modules)
2018-05-25 Community Freeze (Community Modules)
2018-05-31 Branch stable-2.6
2018-06-28 Final Release

Please be aware of the freeze dates if you have contributions you wish to see in the Ansible 2.6 release.
