Hi all,
As some may have noticed when rolling out the security upgrades in the 1.5.1 update we missed some module usage in various places – which wasn’t too good, obviously, and we’re taking a lot of steps to increase module coverage.
1.5.3 is out now on http://releases.ansible.com and pypi – and includes fixes for various modules, including the git handling of the accept_hostkey parameter, non-Linux fact gathering, and various modules that were using cert validation.
1.5.3 makes things a LOT better than 1.5.2, so if you were trying 1.5.2 and having problems, check it out. Distro packagers should hop straight to 1.5.3 as well.
If you find problems in this series, please next us know by filing a ticket at github.com/ansible/ansible.
Thanks!
