Thank you all for helping make 0.8 what it is and helping get it out
the door. I've written up a bit about the release here:

Assuming I didn't screw anything up, the wheels of distributions will
soon being to turn and make 0.8 available for consumption in the
repos, I imagine. (A huge thanks to maintainers).
0.9, as you may know, has a huge swath of ideas already lined up for
it, which will begin ... now.

The release-0.8 branch is also now available.
I'll post more as things evolve and exciting things happen.
In keeping with the Van Halen naming system, 0.9 is called "Dreams".
