# Xpath does not reference a node!

My xml file is below:

\<?xml version="1.0" ?\>

and i am doing the following in my playbook:

- name: update sharepoint version  
xml:  
path: “AutoSPInstaller/AutoSPInstallerInput.1.xml”  
xpath: “/Configuration/Install/@SPVersion”  
value: 2010

its giving me the following error:

fatal: [localhost]: FAILED! =\> {“changed”: false, “msg”: “Xpath /Configuration/Install/@SPVersion does not reference a node! tree is \<Configuration Environment="" Version="3.99.60"\>\n \<Install SPVersion=""/\>\n\n”}

i cant seem to figure out why its giving me this error message. i’ll really appreciate any help with this.

sent too early. attributes are references separately using the attribute keyword. its working now!
